Biography

Three Windsor high school classmates which consisted of Gray, Preney, and an unnamed vocalist sought out to start a band and found their drummer in Paul Doman, creating the band Knematic. After two separate incidents forced Gray and the former vocalist to leave the band, the band was left with a void. Ashes of Soma found their bassist in between the incidents, and Gray later happily rejoined the band as the new vocalist. After a couple of years of developing their sound, they recorded their first record, "Exit 647". The first single released is "Emancipate". The band's influences include Tool, Sevendust, Disturbed, Finger Eleven, and I Mother Earth.
