Flag of Democracy is a first generation
hardcore punk band. The band originated inAmbler, Pennsylvania , a suburb ofPhiladelphia in1982 , and are more commonly known by the abbreviation "F.O.D". The band has shared the stage withMinor Threat ,Agnostic Front , and thousands of other bands, and has been referenced by fellow Philadelphia-area rock group theDead Milkmen in the songs "Nutrition" and "Milkmen Stomp". Recently Flag of Democracy has toured with such Japanese hardcore bands such asMind of Asian , and the band is still actively performing in and around Philadelphia today.Band Members
