Mario Bertini (born 7 January 1944) is a former Italian footballer defender / midfielder.

During his club career he played for Empoli, Fiorentina and Inter Milan. He earned 25 caps for the Italy national football team,^[1] and played in the 1970 FIFA World Cup. In the final he marked Pele in his movements in depth out side the area.^[2]
