Alexandra Potter (born 8 May 1970) is a British author.
Born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, and educated at Liverpool University, she worked as a features writer and sub-editor for magazines in both the UK and Australia, before turning to fiction. To date she has written eight romantic comedies:
- What's New, Pussycat?
- Going La La
- Calling Romeo
- Do You Come Here Often?
- Be Careful What You Wish For
- Me and Mr Darcy
- Who's That Girl?
- You're The One That I Don't Want
Her books have been published in both the UK (including the Commonwealth) and the US and have been translated and sold in France, Germany, Netherlands, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Russia, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, China and Serbia. She divides her time between London, New York and Los Angeles.
