There are currently 3 types of physical fitness test, IPPT award (Individual Physical Proficiency Test), AAFT ( Alternate Aerobic Fitness Test) and SPFT ( Submaximal Proficiency Fitness Test). These serve as the physical fitness assessment for the personnel in the Singapore Armed Forces, the Singapore Police Force, and the Singapore Civil Defense Force. It is applicable for all Physical Employment Status (PES) A, B, C1 and C2 regular personnel.
