Alan Gurr

Alan Gurr (born 3 February 1982) was the teammate of Jason Bright at Britek Motorsport in 2007 [http://www.fujitsuracing.com] . He has also driven for Team Sirromet Wines in the 2006 V8 Supercar Championship Series [http://www.v8supercar.com] for the following rounds;

Round 1 - Adelaide Clipsal 500 - 25th
Round 3 - Barbagallo Raceway Wanneroo - 25th
Round 8 - Sandown 500 Endurance Round(Driver swap) - 19th
Round 9 - Bathurst 1000 Endurance Round (Driver swap) - 29th
Round 10 - Lexmark Indy 300 Surfers Paradise - 23rd "Left Racetrack before final race due to a heated discussion with team boss after he (Gurr) overtook him (Morris) on the last lap of race 2"

He was sacked from the team after that race. The drivers he rotated seats with were Fabian Coulthard (Rounds 2,4,7,8 and 9)
Steven Ellery (Rounds 5,6,8 and 9)
Shane Price (Rounds 11 and 13 [Rounds 8 and 9 were also contested by Shane but with a different team]
Jack Perkins (Round 12 [Rounds 8 and 9 were also contested by Jack but with a different team with Shane Price]


In the 2007 Endurance Races, He was partnered with Warren Luff in car 26.
Alan Gurr "has" now received points. The points are handed out to the top 15 drivers. 15th position receiving 2 points.
