Britek Motorsport is one of the motorsport teams contesting the V8 Supercar Championship. Established in 2005 under the ownership of Jason Bright (who was driving for Ford Performance Racing at the time), they have struggled in their first two seasons due to testing and licensing restrictions. The team has occasionally shown promise, particularly in longer distance events.

The team's drivers for the 2005 season were Steve Owen and Matthew White, who were subsequently replaced in 2006 by Warren Luff and the second car was shared by José Fernández and Tony Riciardello.

Jason Bright left the leading Ford Performance Racing outfit in 2007 to drive for Britek, and in doing so, joining the ranks of driver-team owners. He and Alan Gurr became the teams drivers. This year also bought in new sponsorship to Alan Gurr's car in the form of the Tool manufacturing company Irwin Tools. In 2007 Britek showed promise with Bright at the wheel where they were able to break into the top ten a few times. At Bathurst that year Bright at one point was leading the race but later crashed due to the combination of cold slick tyres and wet weather while running well into the top ten. Two other drivers crashed at the same time on the same corner. (Russell Ingall in the Caltex SBR Falcon and Mark Skaife in the HRT Commodore)

In 2008 Alan Gurr was replaced by former Champ Car and Australian Carrera Cup champion Marcus Marshall in the Irwin sponsored car.

Britek also ran Ford's official entry in the Australian Rally Championship, the two Ford Fiesta Super 2000 cars driven by Michael Guest and Darren Windus. This deal fell through in early 2008 when the program was abandoned after Pirtek announced that they could no longer sponsor the team. Britek now only fields an entry for Darren Windus in a Japanese Auto Parts sponsered Ford Fiesta, with varying degrees of success.
