Electoral district of Phillip
- Electoral district of Phillip
Sydney-Phillip was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales, in central Sydney and named after Arthur Phillip, created in 1894 from part of the electoral district of South Sydney. It was initially south of Liverpool Street, east of George Street and City Road, north of Cleveland Street and west of Elizabeth Street. In 1904 it changed its name to Phillip. In 1920, with the introduction of proportional representation, it was absorbed into Sydney. Phillip was recreated in 1927 and abolished in 1981 and partly replaced by Elizabeth. [cite web
