The school has an enrollment of 2,789, making it the third largest high school in Michigan - when including grades 9-12 - and the largest high school in

Stevenson's principal is Jerry Willis and has three assistant principals: Alison Hildebrand, Scott May, and Nanette Chesney. Stevenson is also a State of Michigan and a National Exemplary Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.Stevenson's newspaper is called "The Vanguard" and it's yearbook is called "The Ambassador," both are Sparty Award winners.
Stevenson's mission is "to create a positive and challenging learning environment, which will encourage all students to achieve their greatest potential as responsible, productive members of a diverse society." However, this remains to be seen. Stevenson High School's theme is"The School of Champions!"
ports and Academic Teams
Stevenson's Titan Marching Band (consisting of 9th - 12th grade students) is one of the most successful programs in the school, receiving sixteen straight Division I ratings while competing in the [http://www.msboa.org/ MSBOA] festivals under the direction of Mr. Michael Sekich. The average size of the band is 130 students, but has recently been decreasing slowly because the now retired Superintendent of the UCS district, Dr. Joan C. Sergent, cut the elementary music program due to "budget cuts."
Also at Stevenson, there is Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Dance Team, Football, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track, Volleyball, and Wrestling. Academic teams include Anime, Auto, Book, Chess, Computer, Debate, DECA, Diversity, Driven, Environmental, French, Frisbee, Future Nurses, German, Journalism, Key, Mecca, NHS, Ping-Pong, Quiz Bowl, SADD, Science Olympiad, Scrapbook, Social Studies Olympiad, Spanish, Stevenson Players, VICA, and Yearbook.
