Ophthalmic pathology is the subspecialty of surgical pathology and also a subspecialty ophthalmology of which deals with the diagnosis and characterization of neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the eyes. Ophthalmic pathologists generally work closely with ophthalmologists.
