Reeves grew up in
Ashland, Kentucky and made her way to country music meccaNashville in 1994. She worked as a singer ondemo recording s and in other odd jobs. Reeves was discovered and signed toVirgin Records . Her debut and only album "It's About Time" was released in 1999. The album produced three chart singles, including two Top 40 hits on theHot Country Songs charts. She was also featured on "Shoulda Shut Up", a song featuringBill Engvall 's spoken-word comedy and a sung chorus. Reeves married country music parodistCledus T.
