Xisco Nadal, full name Francisco Sebastián Nadal Martorell (born 27 June 1986 in Palma de Mallorca), is a Spanish footballer, currently playing for "Segunda División" Levante UD, as a striker.

Club career

Xisco made his debut for Villarreal CF against CA Osasuna, on February 2, 2003. On June 15, playing against RCD Espanyol in a 2-2 away draw, he became the youngest player ever to score in a first division match, aged 16 years, 11 months and 18 days. Nadal also made 4 UEFA Cup and one Champions League appearances for Villarreal.

However, he wasn't used very often at Villarreal, and served loans to CD Numancia and Real Murcia in the second halves of 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. In 2006-07, he spent the entire season at Hércules CF.

In January 2008, Xisco lost all ties to Villarreal and joined newly created side Granada 74 CF. Upon the side's relegation, he moved again, signing a 2-year deal with Levante UD.

International career

Xisco was part of Spain's U-17 squad which finished as runner-up at 2003 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship. He also played in 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship, where Spain lost in the final to Brazil.

Personal

Xisco is one day younger than namesake Francisco Jiménez Tejada, formerly of Deportivo de La Coruña and also a Spanish youth international. They also share birthplace, while not related.
