Mark Wahlstrom (born September 16, 1958 In Lockport, New York) is the owner and founder of Wahlstrom & Associates [1], one of the nation's leading plaintiff oriented structured settlement and litigation consulting firms. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, the firm is noted for its expertise in mass tort and multi-litigant litigation, particularly using innovative practices such as 468b settlement trusts and other concepts that empower plaintiffs in properly planning their settlement awards.
In 2005 he co-founded The Legal Broadcast Network with Attorney Jan Schlichtmann, the lawyer featured in the book and movie, A Civil Action. LBN is a blogging and podcasting site of interest to trial lawyers and consumers interested in various aspects of trial law and settlement issues. Currently serving as Chairman of The Legal Broadcast Network, Wahlstrom has overseen the expansion and growth of the network into a daily news and information video broadcast for attorneys, law students, law makers and others interested in the impact the law has on society. In addition to hosting his own weekly broadcast of "Speaking of Settlements",Wahlstrom has been featured or mentioned as a financial or settlement expert in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The National Law Journal, Wealth Managers Magazine and The Robb Report.
