Erdington area ofBirmingham ,England . The school also has asixth form . It opened in September 1975.When the school was renamed, the headmaster was Mr Loughran. The newly formed school used the sites of three constituent schools, St Agnes', St Thomas of Canterbury and St. Margaret Clitherow School. Up until September 2004, the school was situated on two sites; upper site and lower site. Lower site which was situated on Pitts Farm Road near
Pype Hayes Park and was used by year 7 and 8 pupils. It has now since been demolished as extensive building work which was carried out on the now main site (upper site) between September 2002 and December 2005 has enabled the school to become a single site. In September 2005, the school was granted Specialist Language college status. The school introduced their very own X Factor competition in 2007 with judges
Robin Corbett , Lady Val Corbett, Tony CollinsSiôn Simon and Archbishop Nichols. The show will return onApril 25 2008 with the same judges, although Tony Collins will be replaced by Gordon Lee and Archbishop Nichols will be replaced by Katie Edwards- Actress.Campion X Factor 2008 held on 25th April 2008 was a huge success, pulling in an audience of over 350. The show included 20 acts, 15 from St Edmund Campion School and 1 from 5 of the local primary schools that competed in a Primary round. Live music was provided my the Perfect Strangers. over £1500 was raised for the School's Mission Week.Famous people who attended Campion
