Honey Irani

Honey Irani is an award-winning Indian screenwriter. She is the former wife of Javed Akhtar and mother of director Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar [ [http://www.india-today.com/itoday/20000619/cinema.html India-today.com: 'Honey Irani - Sweet Taste of Success'] ] . She is the aunt of Farah Khan and sister of famous child artist of the 50's and 60's Daisy Irani. She was born in a Zoroastrian family.

Honey Irani began her Bollywood career as a child actress with roles in films like "Chirag Kahaan Roshni Kahaan" and "Bombay Ka Chor". She has acted in over 72 films [ [http://www.rediff.com/movies/2003/may/13honey.htm Rediff.com: 'Everyone would be crying. It was great'] ] . Later, she became a successful scriptwriter.
