February 26 ,1971 in Niagara Falls,Ontario ) is a Canadianice hockey centre who currently coaches theBloomington Prairie Thunder of the International Hockey League.Skalde was drafted 26th overall by
New Jersey Devils in the1989 NHL Entry Draft and started hisNational Hockey League career with the Devils in 1990. He would also play for theMighty Ducks of Anaheim ,Calgary Flames ,San Jose Sharks ,Dallas Stars ,Chicago Blackhawks ,Atlanta Thrashers , andPhiladelphia Flyers , but spent most of his career bouncing around the minor leagues. He went on to play a total of 115 regular season games, scoring 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points and collecting 62 penalty minutes. He left the NHL after the 2002 season and played inSwitzerland 's Nationalliga A for Lausanne, before spending three seasons in theAmerican Hockey League . He then moved toSweden 'sElitserien to play forLeksands IF . In 2006, he played in theAsia League Ice Hockey , playing for theOji Ice Hockey Team . In 2007, he returned to North America and signed with the Bloomington Prairie Thunder under a player/associate coach role.External links
