"Wedding Daze", (also known as The Pleasure of Your Company and The Next Girl I See) is a 2006 romantic comedy movie, written and directed by Michael Ian Black. It stars Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher.

Plot

Against the advice of his best friend, Ted (played by Michael Weston), Anderson (played by Jason Biggs) proposes to his girlfriend in public in a Cupid costume. She instantly dies. After a year passes, Ted manages to convince Anderson to start dating again. Anderson is still mourning, but he reluctantly agrees in order to placate his friend. On a whim, he asks a waitress, Katie (played by Isla Fisher), to marry him. To his utter astonishment, she accepts his proposal.

Ted, Anderson, Katie, and the rest of their wedding party obtain a car from the car dealership where Ted works (under the pretense of test driving the vehicle) in order to travel to the wedding location. They are arrested for stealing the car. Katie's father, a convict, escapes from prison to attend the ceremony. He and Katie's mother travel to the wedding site after robbing a clothing store. They are arrested by the police and, by coincidence, put in the same jail cell as the wedding party. They manage to escape by stealing a gun from one of the officers guarding their cell. Katie and Anderson marry, but all are arrested again. They bribe a judge with a blender and he releases them.

Characters

*Anderson -(Jason Biggs) is nervous, uptight, and closely resembles Biggs' character from American Pie, Jim. He is a mental wreck after the death of his girlfriend and attempts to return his life to normal by asking a complete stranger to marry him.

*Katie -(Isla Fisher) is a waitress at a local restaurant and has her own relationship problems when her boyfriend proposes to her. After she does not agree to marry her boyfriend, she immediately meets Anderson and he proposes to her.

*Ted -(Michael Weston)is Anderson's best friend and works at car dealership. After pushing Anderson to try at romance again, he helps Anderson and his new friends take a very long test drive.
