"The Archives Vol. 1 1963-1972" is a forthcoming box set by Neil Young. It is the first of several in the Archives series, which will eventually chronicle the artist's entire career.

There have been conflicting reports as to which media the archives will be released on. The Reprise Records website initially announced that the first volume will consist of 8 CDs, 2 DVDs and a 150 page book. In January 2008, it was announced that the archives would be released only on Blu-ray and DVD Video with no CD release planned. The box is planned to feature rare and unreleased material from the first decade of Young's career, spanning his time with The Squires, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby Stills Nash & Young and his first several solo albums. The release is set to be followed by other box sets covering other stages of his career. The box set is set to be accompanied by individual concert releases, one of which is known to be of the 1968 Riverboat performances.
