Lord Drayson was appointed as the first Minister of State for Defence Equipment and Support in March 2007. The current Minister is Baroness Taylor, who succeeded Lord Drayson when he left Government on 7 November 2007 to pursue his motor racing interests. **Defence Science and Technology Laboratories (dstl)
**Commercial policy throughout the Department
**Defence exports
**International aspects of defence equipment and support
