Arcadia . It is the seat of the municipality of the same name. The village is connected by GR-74. Throughout the town from the bridge and westward, the highway is narrow and has only one lane. GR-33 is about 50 km SW. It is located E of 62 km E of Olympia and 82 km E of Pyrgos, NW of Megalopoli andDimitsana and 70 km W of Tripoli.ubdivisions

The village has a school, a church, a post office, and a square ("
plateia "). The village is located on the valley which has a small creek to its south and the residential area covers the southern part of a mountain which its elevaion is about 1,100 m. Another mountain is located to the south, totaling four mountaintops. Forests are founded to the east while rocky terrains and some arable land and deforested parts cover most of the south, west and north of Lagkadia. It is known for its local weaving mill.slopes of the mountain ranges which includes
Mainalo . Another mountain range is founded in the west and another to the north along with the valley. Pine trees surround the eastern and the southern part of the village while much of the municipality are forested.It used to had builders that made stone-built mansions to all of the peninsula with the exception of the
Mani peninsula.Until the 1960s, much of the village did not have electricity and until the 1980s, most of the houses were stone-built.
