Corine Christensen (1955[1] – 1986) was a prostitute and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) student, who was murdered in California on November 3, 1986. [2] With her boyfriend, James Marino, she also supplied drugs to Richard Bandler, the co-developer of NLP. Christensen was the daughter of a San Francisco policeman.[3]
Christensen was shot in the face at her townhouse in Capitola, near Santa Cruz, with a .357 Magnum owned by Bandler, and died of her wounds.[3] On January 29, 1988, Bandler was acquitted by a jury, after 5½ hours of deliberation, of the murder. Marino, who testified he was present during the shooting, was not charged.[4]
The case is officially unsolved.
