National Express West Midlands currently run every 6 minutes daytime Monday - Saturday, every 30 minutes evenings and 15 minutes Sunday. The service is usually run byWright Eclipse , however, when needed the service will usually experienceAlexander Dennis Enviro400 s or Volvo B7TLAlexander ALX400 s on it. Very rarely will an appearance by Volvo B10B's be seen. The service is run commercially.Service 33 has also experienced some form of competition from Cityspeed, however, they have now withdrawn from the service. Diamond Bus have not touched this route.
National Express West Midlands currently charge a maximum fare of £1.50 on this services.

During the late 1990s Travel West Midlands (former name of National Express West Midlands) started to invest in new vehicle purchases and the bus route 33 was given branding for its buses used on this route.
Trivia
Although there were sayings that service 33 will be extended to
Walsall or Sutton Coldfield, this is not true as National Express West Midlands have no plans to change this route.External links
