Jordan Gelber is an American actor.

Biography

Broadway

He is known for originating the role of struggling comedian Brian in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "Avenue Q". Gelber is currently performing in two off-Broadway productions by the Exchange theater, "Realism" and "Jump!". Television and film

Gelber's television work includes a recurring role as CSU Tech Layton on ' and appearances in episodes of ' and "The Sopranos".

His film credits include a role in "Riding in Cars with Boys" opposite Drew Barrymore.

He has also lent his voice to The Warriors video game as Chatterbox(leader of the Hi-Hats).

Personal life

He graduated from George W. Hewlett High School in Hewlett, Long Island in 1993.

He is also a 1997 graduate of Stanford University, where he was a member of the Stanford Improvisors improvisational theatre troupe [cite web|url=http://www.stanford.edu/group/simps/players/alumni.html|title=Stanford Improvisors: 1991-2007|accessdate=2007-04-02|Stanford Improvisors] and an a cappella group, Stanford Mendicants.cite web

In 1994 Gelber attended the National Theater Institute.

In 2000 Gelber earned a master's degree in acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
