Lauzon Parkway is one of Windsor's primary North-South arterial roads. it is generally a limited-access road, with some accesses to business plazas, and intersections with cross streets.

The road originally travelled from Tecumseh Road to Division Road (CR 42), until 2002, when the road was extended roughly 2 km northwards to meet a re-aligned Lauzon Road.

Lauzon Parkway acts as the western boundary for Forest Glade, and as a primary access to it, and several nearby shopping malls, such as Zehrs, Zellers, and Walmart. It also formerly had a Ford Canada engine factory located nearby, however it shut down recently.

South of the City Limits (the CN Rail tracks overpass), the road was known as County Road 117, and was also a Windsor Suburban Road until 1998. In 2003, Windsor annexed a large parcel of land from Tecumseh, Ontario. The road will maintain its County Road designation in Windsor for now, but this will change in the future.

The designation of County Road 117 was originally "Spur 117" until the late 1980s, as it was a spur route of nearby County Road 17
