Méru is a town in northern France. It is designated municipally as a commune within the département of Oise. With a population of 13.000, Méru is the largest town of the Canton of Méru whose administrative centre Méru is. Further Méru located in the Arrondissement of Beauvais.

Méru has a partnership with Borken in Germany since 1964. This partnership received a donation from the German French Culture Foundation for exemplary partnership in 1978. In 1999 the partnership received a donation from the European Parliament with the european diplom.
