Verberie is a village and commune on the River Oise in the French "département" of Oise . It lies seven miles South-West of Compiègne on the main road to Senlis and Paris. The railway station is on the line from Compiegne to Crépy-en-Valois. It has a population of 3,291, with an average income of €20,442 (1999).

During the First World War it was the scene of fighting on the September 1, 1914, and in 1918. it has several war cemeteries. The Verberie French National Cemetery contains the graves of 3,221 French soldiers (of whom 2,339 are unidentified), 52 servicemen from the United Kingdom, and one Canadian cavalryman.

It was the birth place of Juliette Adam.
