Grier Martin (born 1968 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's 34th House District since 2004. His district includes the northern part of Raleigh in Wake County. Martin chairs the Homeland Security, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee. Martin is currently a major in the US Army Reserve and served in Afghanistan in 2002-03.
