"Lovegod" is an album by the Soup Dragons, released in July 1990. Three songs from the album were released as singles—"I'm Free", "Mother Universe", "Backwards Dog". There seems to be some confusion over the copyright year, with 1989 stamped on the disc. However, the correct copyright year, 1990, is printed on the liner notes and back tray card. This confusion may be due to the 1990 re-release of the album which added the track "I'm Free" which was not included in the original release.
