Past_members =Choice was an American
contemporary R&B girl group comprisingAlecia Moore (a.k.a. Pink),Chrissy Conway andSharon Flanagan . A copy of their first song, "Key to My Heart", was sent toLaFace Records inAtlanta, Georgia , whereLA Reid overheard it and arranged for the group to fly there so he could see them perform. After this, he signed them to a record deal; because the girls were under eighteen, their parents had to co-sign the contract. The group relocated to Atlanta and recorded an album, and "Key to My Heart" appeared on the soundtrack of the 1996 film "Kazaam ".After Choice gave a poorly received performance at a LaFace
Christmas party, Reid believed that Moore had a future as a solo artist and told her to decide whether to stay with LaFace on her own, or leave the label with the group. Moore eventually chose to pursue a solo career under the stage name Pink, and the band consequently split up. Conway joined the Christian pop groupZOEgirl , and she and Flanagan provided backing vocals on Pink's debut album, "Can't Take Me Home " (2000).References
