Faculty of Information Technology

Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) is the public institution belonging to the University of Dzemal Bijedic, located in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Program and curriculum are based on Bologna declaration. FIT offers four-year degrees in the field of Information Technology, and is preparing to completely switch to Bologna system, as soon as Bosnia and Herzegovina adopts the new law for higher education.

Founded in 1997, it currently has about 1900 students. FIT provides in-class as well distance learning studies. Distance learning students represent the majority of the student body, whose number is constantly increasing. FIT is the public but a self-financing institution which covers its costs from students fees.

Beginning 2002, FIT offers graduate studies.
