The Columbus Municipal School District is a public school district based in Columbus, Mississippi (USA).

In addition to Columbus, the district also serves the children of Columbus Air Force Base military personnel.

There were a total of 4,717 students enrolled in the Columbus Municipal School District during the 2006-2007 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 50% female and 50% male. The racial makeup of the district was 86.79% African American, 11.38% White, 0.78% Hispanic, 0.95% Asian, and 0.09% Native American.[1] 74.1% of the district's students were eligible to receive free lunch.[2]
