Lacertaemoba

"Lacertaemoba" is a subgenus of the genus "Plasmodium" - all of which are parastic protozoa. All species in this subgenus infect reptiles.

This subgenus was created by Telford to refine the classification of species then given as "Plasmodium tropiduri". Telford S. (1979) A taxonomic reconsideration of some "Plasmodium" species from iguanid lizards. Annales de parasitologie Humanie et Comparée 54: 129-144 ]
