The Victoria Island structure is a bowl-shaped structure approximately 5.5 km across, buried under shale sediments to the west of Stockton, California, United States. It may be a buried meteorite impact crater formed between 37 and 49 million years ago.[Spevack, S. C., Morrow, J. R., Spevack, B. The structure, part of what was formerly a sea bed, is approximately circular and currently lies 1,490–1,600 meters (4,890–4,250 ft) below sea level.
