Chunangad is a village near Ottapalam taluk of Palakkad district of Kerala State, India.

Chunangad is famous for Chunangadan Kuthari, a particular breed of rice, which used to be popular choice of rice for Kings who ruled Kerala region hundreds of years ago. The educational institutes in the village include a Central school, an Arabic college, and B.Ed College.
