(Férussac, 1821)[2]Cepaea vindobonensis is a species of medium-sized air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod in the family Helicidae.
The scientific name is derived from the Celtic settlement Vindobona, now known as Vienna, the capital of Austria.
