HMCS Ungava (J149)

HMCS "Ungava" (J149) was a Bangor Class Minesweeper that served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II.

"Ungava" was laid down on 24 April 1940 at North Vancouver Ship Repairs Ltd., North Vancouver and launched on 9 October 1940. She was commissioned into the RCN on 5 September 1941.

The "Ungava" received battle honours for service in the Battle of the Atlantic. She was decommissioned on 3 April 1946.
