The 2007New England Patriots season was the 38th season for the team in theNational Football League and 48th season overall. The Patriots finished the regular season 16-0, improving on their 12–4 record of 2006, when the team finished in first place in the AFC East, but lost to theIndianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship.
