He played for ten seasons from 1988 to 1999 for the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Miami Dolphins. Stubbs played on two Super Bowl winning teams for the 49ers in his first two seasons of his career.
Stubbs played high school football at Red Bank Regional High School in Little Silver, New Jersey.[1]
The Stubbs Sandwich, a food item sold in a restaurant chain in Coppell, Texas and heavily-endorsed by John Madden, is named for him.[2]
