Muramatsu Flutes

Muramatsu Flutes

The Muramatsu company is a Japanese company that manufactures flutes. Their handmade flutes are made from sterling silver, 9K, 14K, 18K, and 24K gold, as well as platinum. The 18K, 24K, and platinum flutes may be purchased by special order only.

The factory Muramatsu Flute MFG. Co., Ltd. (村松フルート製作所?) is located in the city of Tokorozawa, Japan. The sister company that sells the flutes is Muramatsu Inc. (村松楽器販売?) and is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, with branches in Osaka, Nagoya, and Yokohama in Japan, and dealers all over the world.

The flutist James Galway frequently uses a 24K gold flute made by Muramatsu. He also plays many other flutes by them, although he has no business connections with the company.[1] Other famous flutists who use this brand include Sharon Bezaly.[2]
