Tim Dellor

Timothy Paul Dellor is a presenter on BBC Local Radio.

Born in Reading, Berkshire in 1975 to Ralph Dellor and his wife, he grew up in Woolhampton, Berkshire, and attended Bradfield College, a public school in the small village of Bradfield in the English county of Berkshire. Dellor graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science and Geography and from the London Institute with a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Dellor is a News and Sports Commentator and reporter with the BBC[1]

Dellors position as local radio sports commentator gives him a surprising amount of leverage over Reading FC. He was implicated in the sacking of Brendan Rodgers as it was felt that his outburst on air and rudeness to Dellor had been a contributing factor in his dismissal.[2]

He also reports on Premier League Football for BBC South Today TV, and for Five Live Radio.

Dellor also works for the England Cricket Board, as their "Head Coach -Lead Tutor". He runs the ECB Level 3 coaching programme, developing the skills of elite coaches. He is an ECB qualified cricket coach, coaches Berkshire Minor County Cricket first team and was the Greek National Cricket Coach for 9 years.

He married Amanda Sutton at St Bartholomew's church in Nettlebed, Oxfordshire in December 2005. She is a BBC Berkshire broadcast journalist, who often wrote sports reports on Reading Hockey Club. They had worked closely together in November 2004 in tragic circumstances. He often plays music by Abba.

He has run the London Marathon three times.

In 2007 he won the Sky Sports contribution to cricket award.
