List of Prime Ministers of Catalonia
- List of Prime Ministers of Catalonia
The following is a list of Prime Ministers of Catalonia (Catalan: "Conseller Primer", formerly the "Conseller en Cap"), since 2001. The Prime Minister was appointed by, and subordinate to, the President of the Generalitat.
The title can be misleading, as the President of the Generalitat is the head of the Catalan government. Appointment of a Prime Minister in the Government was optional. In the 2006 term the powers of the formers Prime Ministers were given to the new position of Vice President of Catalonia.
