Route description
SR-132 is a two-lane route in its entirety. Its main purpose is to lead motorists from Oneonta to Attalla and Gadsden without travelling via State Route 75 or U.S. Highway 231 and Interstate 59. It travels in a general northeastward trajectory as it leads from Oneonta as it leads through rural Blount County. The only town the route passes through is the farming community of Altoona.
