The Eastern Parkway Line is one of the lines of the IRT division of theNew York City Subway , stretching fromDowntown Brooklyn south alongFlatbush Avenue and east alongEastern Parkway (Brooklyn) to Crown Heights. After passing Crown Heights–Utica Avenue, the line rises onto an elevated structure and becomes the New Lots Line to the end at New Lots Avenue inNew Lots, Brooklyn . The west end of the Eastern Parkway Line is at theJoralemon Street Tunnel under theEast River .
