Administration
At the head of the Administration is Mr. Todd Haskell, the Principal. The Vice Principals are Ms. Goldhawk, and Mr. Zondag.
Mascot
The school's mascot is the Golden Hawk. In previous years the logo of the hawk was, oddly enough, not golden. In the 2006-07 school year the logo was re-done, and it is now golden.
The Musical
The CKSS Musical is a major event in the CKSS School year. For over a decade Mr. Bruce "willie" Nelson has directed the Musical.
Extracurricular activities
CKSS also sports an Improvisation team. The team holds try outs during the fall of each school year and competes in the annual Canadian Improv Games.
A recent addition to the many clubs offered at CKSS is the Interact Club. The interact club is a part of Rotary International. They partner with the Chatham Sunrise Rotary club, helping with their many fundraising projects. Everyone knows CKSS is known for their strong volleyball program, which is known as one of the best in the province.
