International Anglican-Roman Catholic Commission for Unity and Mission

The International Anglican-Roman Catholic Commission for Unity and Mission is a joint group between the Roman Catholic and Anglican Churches to discuss areas of common concern.

The first meeting took place from 20 November-24 November 2001.

The meeting began at Lambeth Palace until the participants travelled to Rome to continue and complete the session. In London they were greeted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr George Carey. When the group was in Rome they met with Pope John Paul II.
