Nevasa is a city in Nevasa tehsil of Ahmednagar district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

A famous temple of Shani, Shani Shingnapur is located near Sonai in Nevasa Taluka. Saint Dnyaneshwar wrote a dnaneshwari in Newasa beside a pole which is still there. Every year palkhi of dnyaneshwari is taken to Pandharpur during ashadi ekadashi.

Moryachinchore is a famous village in Nevasa Taluka. The More dynasty ruled the village for about 2,000 years. A royal temple of the More dynasty is Pohahicha Mahadev. In nevasa there is also a famous village called sukali also known as gundwadi. In gundwadi there is a temple of shakambahri devi. Gund baburao pandharinath is a person from this village.there is Sureshnagar and Handinimgaion is village and there is Trivenishwar Mahadev, Temple, Sant Bhakt Prahlad Maharaj.sureshnagar is Adarsh Gaon Rewarded village. Sarpanch is Pandurang Ubhedal. he is honest person. Nath Panthi Gosavi Samaj also lived in sureshnagar. There are Pashan, Padle, Shete, and Babar family and other Localities more than 1500 hundred. Sureshnagar is Near Newasa fata and Ahmednagar- Aurangabad Highway.
