Emblem

The motto at the top of the emblem, Μολών Λαβέ, means "Come and take them".

It comes from the Spartan King Leonidas I, just prior to the Battle of Thermopylae. It was a response to the Persian King Xerxes I's demand for the surrender of the Spartans' arms.
