Chittagong Kotwali (Bengali: চট্টগ্রাম কোতোয়ালী) is a Thana of Chittagong District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Geography

Demographics

As of 1991^[update] Bangladesh census, Chittagong Kotwali has a population of 246893. Males constitute are 62.62% of the population, and females 37.38%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 159706. Chittagong Kotwali has an average literacy rate of 71.5% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[1]
