Medway Family Church

Medway Family Church is a charismatic and reformed church which is part of the newfrontiers family of churches and also the Evangelical Alliance. It was started in 1993 and used The Zion Baptist Church building which was rented from the Baptist Union. In 2000 the roof on the building was condemned and deemed unsuitable for use and too costly to repair. The land was sold and the building later demolished. It has been replaced by a Blockbuster Video and flats! Medway Family Church moved into temporary meeting places which included a community centre and a school. The church currently meets in the Jasper Centre in Rochester, a building it was given as a gift by the previous trustees.
