WCCE (90.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Contemporary Christian format. Licensed to Buies Creek, North Carolina, USA, the station serves the Fayetteville area. The station is currently owned by Radio Training Network. The station has obtained a construction permit from the FCC for a power increase to 15,000 watts. Format

The station employs a Christian music format and mixed with other religious programming. WCCE also broadcasts various athletic events of the Campbell Fighting Camels. Weekend programming includes some bluegrass and big band music shows.

Former Programming

WCCE formerly aired a "Light and Easy 90.1" format featuring easy listening music during parts of the broadcast day along with religious programming. This format was featured during the 1990s and early 2000s before being dropped in 2006.

Geographic Coverage

WCCE's 3,000 watt signal covers all of Harnett County, North Carolina as well as parts of Wake, Lee, Johnston, Cumberland, and Sampson counties.

Sale

Following the 2006-2007 academic year, the station continued to broadcast while awaiting a buyer.Campbell University is in the process of selling the station following the 2006-2007 school year to Radio Training Network, Inc., which will be used to simulcast programming from new sister station WRTP to better serve the Fayetteville market.
